Whispered Words of Smoke and Flowers

I think this has to be one of my most favourite collaborations to date! When Sarah from Sarah Fountain Photography and I decided we had do work together again, we knew it had to be something completely different to anything we'd done before!

Now don't get me wrong, I love and don't think I will ever be over the fun, cute vintage style shoots I've been involved with in the past, but it was so great to be able to explore a darker more serious side of my headpieces.

Collaborating with such a rad team ensured that this photoshoot was going to be amazeballs!
Styling by Tamzen Holland Fashion Stylist pulling the incredible garments from George Wu and BAINE Menswear.

Drowning in Beauty

After working on a few amazing shoots with Nicola Easterby and with her impending departure on an amazing Europe trip in the next few days, we decided that we just HAD to squeeze in another shoot before she left us for 2 months!

A while ago I came across some incredible images from Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello's bath shoot and became totally inspired! This was the shoot we needed to do before Nicola left!

I became obsessed with this concept and the more googling I did, the more amazing photoshoots I came across, including adding milk bath to the water!

A super fun Sunday afternoon was spent splashing around in the tub with Nicola, Jaye from Fabled and True, Kellie from Vintage Belles and our gorgeous model Emily Gammie. Can't wait to see the rest of the pictures tonight! xxx

Finally! A blog!

Soooooo blogging is something I’ve been wanting to do for forever and a day and today I have finally decided it’s time!
So for my first blog entry I thought I’d introduce the person behind Blossom Headpieces, here it goes!
Dear Diary
My name is Adrienne and I am the designer behind Blossom Headpieces! Blossom was born in 2010 from a love of roses, pink and a love of cute hair accessories! I began creating a few little headbands for myself and gifting them to my friends for their birthdays, soon I started selling them and since then I have never looked back!
A little FYI about me: I am 24 and I live in Brisbane! I love floral anything, pink, peonies and bling. I have become obsessed with the 50s & 60s, my heart races when I spy a floral 60s wiggle dress, I love Mad Men and I’m actually in love with Don Draper! I’m a sucker for reality TV (especially the Real Housewives franchise). I love drinking tea, I collect tea pots and vintage china cups. I am the proud owner of a Royal Albert tea set which is my pride and glory! I’m a recent uni grad with a Bachelor of Business with Marketing & PR and when I grow up I’d love to be a  super awesome marketing exec so I can wear Review and high heels everyday!

Being a uni student really was the driving force behind Blossom. 40% being the awesome experience I was gaining through selling and marketing my brand and 60%  of it was the best procrastination activity EVER! And since then, I’ve never looked back!
After doing markets, fashion shows and photo shoots I have met soooo many amazing people along the way! I love what I do and I hope you love what I do too!
Well I suppose I should stop procrasi-blogging and get some work done! I hope you enjoyed my first blog! xoxo Adrienne
